Gather your two-legged and four-legged team members; the 6th Annual ‘Walk of Hope’ is coming April 27, 2013! The 3.1 mile family and pet fun walk will be held at Freedom Park on Washington & Mojave. Mark your calendars and get ready for a fun filled day of music, games, and prizes with all proceeds going to help the women, children, and pets at The Shade Tree and Noah’s Animal House! Lace up those sneakers and help us go the extra mile to raise $15,000 for our families!
Participants can raise money by forming a walking team! It’s fun and easy; your team can consist of family members, co-workers, and friends. We welcome and encourage you to bring your pet for some family-fun and exercise. All team members must fill out a registration form and include the walkers’ fees. Every team captain should have a Team List form with all of their team members (pets included). Each team member should have a Sponsorship Listing form to help keep track of folks that donate money to their team. Please make sure you collect the walkers’ fees, donations, sponsors' information, and keep track of the amounts. Remember, awards will be given out to the “Top Fundraising Team” and “Top Individual Fundraiser”!
