About the Event

Gather your two-legged and four-legged family and friends for Shade Tree’s 7th Annual Walk of Hope, sponsored by Walgreens and Clear Channel Media + Entertainment (My 93.1, Sunny 106.5 and 95.5 The Bull), on Saturday, April 26 at the recently opened Craig Ranch Regional Park. This is more than just a walk- it is a time to have fun and declare that together we will end domestic violence. Get ready for a fun filled day of music, games, and prizes with all proceeds going to help the women, children, and pets at The Shade Tree and Noah’s Animal House!

How Your Involvement Helps

By participating in the Walk of Hope, you are helping to save and change the lives of women, children, and their pets that have experienced domestic violence. All proceeds raised from the event go directly toward providing safe shelter, support, counseling and more to victims and their children. This is all made possible with the support and dedication of individuals, organizations, and businesses, which form a walk team, walk as an individual, sponsor the event, provide an in-kind donation, or help by spreading the word.

There are 3 great ways you can help:
FORM A TEAM

Raise money by forming a Walking Team! Your team can consist of family members, co-workers, classmates and friends. We also welcome and encourage you to bring your pet along for some family fun and exercise. All you need to start a team is someone to register as a Team Captain. As a Team Captain, you will be responsible for completing a Team Captain Registration Form and keeping track of your team roster, which will include the names of all your team members (pets included). Team Captains will also need to ensure that all team members complete an individual registration form and submit their registration fee either prior to the walk or the day of the walk. Every individual on your team should have an Individual Sponsorship Form to help keep track of their supporters who donate money to their team. Please make sure you collect the walkers’ fees, donations, sponsors' information, and keep track of the amounts. Awards will be handed out to the “Top Fundraising Team” and “Top Individual Fundraiser”!
